The Spirit Behind the Hailey Mayz Foundation

We call it the "aMAYZing Hailey" experience for good reason ... that is, through all the trial and tribulations Hailey experienced throughout her precious, short life, she was always (or almost always) happy … enjoying every minute.

We spent a lot of time in the neo-natal ICU. Our emotions roller-coastered. We worried about money, insurance our other children, and of course, Hailey. We made it through every day for two powerful reasons: our inspirational Hailey, and the family, friends and community that rallied by our side.

So when Hailey left us, she showed us what to do. It's a simple and humble mission: Spread the aMAYZing Hailey experience by helping local families who have babies with special needs and are struggling financially.

The Hailey Mayz Foundation is a grassroots operation ... we don't think we can change the world, but if we can change even one life i t's all worth it. We're constantly looking for financial help from the community and beyond, then we award a "Hailey's Halo" (a monetary contribution) to families when and where we can.

The families we help come through recommendations from people we know and the every expanding aMAYZing Hailey network. The dollar value of our Halos is often modest, but every little bit helps right? The effort would make our Hailey smile, so we're gonna keep at it.

Helping Little Angels One Halo at a Time

We choose to honor Hailey Mayz by helping people like us, that is, families with special-needs babies who struggle daily to deal with the emotional and financial responsibilities.

So what we do is solicit tax-deductible donations, and then every chance we get, we give out a Hailey's Halo. These Halos come in the form of a financial gift to a recommended family.
